We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Administrator for 12 – Months – fixed – term Contract in Hotazel, Northern Cape, South Africa. The purpose is to provide support throughout the full recruitment lifecycle to the Talent Acquisition Specialists, ensuring a seamless external candidate and internal stakeholder experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- The talent acquisition team will actively source key talent across multiple platforms.
- Review applications, conduct screenings, and shortlist candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage candidate relationships by maintaining regular communication and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure a high level of data accuracy across manual trackers, pre-screening notes on candidates
- Support the development and execution of targeted recruitment campaigns for specialised mining roles.
- Assist in ensuring the timely completion of all pre-employment checks and site-specific requirements.
- Assist new starters with completing their onboardings online
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure that due diligence checks are performed for all candidates by liaising with the Administrator TA based in Johannesburg for MIE
- Verification request and medical bookings.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition specialist and HRBP for salary Recommendations and onboarding
- Assist candidates with the online application process
- Schedule shortlisting with the Unions and line managers for bargaining unit roles
- Liaise with HRB’s for ex-employees verifications before shortlisting
- Ad-Hoc administrative activities
- Recommend improvements to processes, practices, and systems.
- Assist with the due diligence process for new starters, contractor conversions, and internal movements when coverage is needed.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, tact, and discretion.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Certificate in Human Resources (1 Year)
- Experience in the Minning / Quarrying Sector
- 2 years experience in Human Resources Administration and Processes (includes Interview, psychometric assessment, background check, medical assessment);
- 1-year recruitment experience is essential
- 1 year and more experience working in Excel and Word is essential
- 1 year and more experience with recruitment systems – SAP Success Factors advantageous
