Technical Sales Representative – Richards Bay & Northern Kzn

We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative to develop and grow our client’s customer base across Richards Bay and Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This role involves becoming a trusted technical advisor to maintenance and engineering teams, delivering tailored solutions to meet complex operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the customer base by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the region
• Build strong, long-term relationships with maintenance and engineering teams
• Provide expert technical advice and recommend appropriate solutions
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess requirements and identify opportunities
• Deliver high levels of customer service to strengthen existing accounts

Requirements & Experience

• Proven technical sales experience within heavy industry
• Background in mining or heavy industrial environments
• Strong product knowledge of valves, pumps, gaskets, piping, or rotating equipment
• Established relationships within Richards Bay industrial sectors (highly advantageous)
• Comfortable conducting on-site inspections and engaging with technical teams
• Highly self-managed, organised, and results-driven
• Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills
