Procurement Manager

Purpose
Lead the establishment of a national procurement function by developing procurement strategy, supplier governance, sourcing processes, and purchasing standards. Drive procurement as a strategic function that supports business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national procurement strategy.
• Build and lead the procurement function from the ground up.
• Establish supplier governance, sourcing methodologies, and procurement policies.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Drive strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and procurement improvements.
• Oversee contract management, inventory optimisation, and ERP procurement processes.

Requirements

• Approximately 10 years' experience in procurement leadership.
• Proven experience building or transforming procurement functions.
• Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with supplier management and contract administration.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement processes.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and process improvement.
• International sourcing experience is advantageous.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
