Position Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location: Richards Bay
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Richards Bay. The successful candidate will predominantly focus on promoting and selling our fluid sealing and fluid control product range. This role requires a technically-minded individual with strong sales acumen and a good understanding of industrial insulation environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the thermal insulation and fluid control sectors.
- Promote and sell company’s full product and service range, including thermal insulation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and quotations to customers.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical support and product guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of industry experience with a solid understanding of company products.
- Proven experience within industrial thermal insulation environments.
- Prior exposure to insulation operations and applications is essential.
- Demonstrated sales experience, ideally in the engineering or industrial sector.
- Physically fit and able to pass medical fitness assessments.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for site visits and client engagements.
- Experience or knowledge of scaffolding will be a strong advantage.
- Syspro experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
