We’re urgently seeking an L2 Technical Support Consultant – 6 Months Contract who is immediately available. The primary purpose of this role is to function as a second-level Support Consultant in the Support Services Hub within the Technical Services Department, resolving technical issues relating to the company’s products/services.
Package & Remuneration
- Salary: R16000 per month
- 6 months contract – with ext – project-based
- Shift work – weekends one in and one out
- Cal Centre Operates from 7am until 10pm
- Based on Sandton – office based
- Monday to Sunday 2 days off
MUST have Linux experience & qualification:
N+/A+ certification
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitoring and estate reporting
- Responsible for supporting all products on the monitoring platforms and maintenance of accurate data
- Generating Statistical Reports
- Product configuration
- Configuration of products for specific solutions within SLA’s.
- Update configurations for estates and distribute updated documents
- Escalations and engagement
- Respond to and action requests from business partners
- Manage and respond to 2nd level escalations within SLA’s.
- CRM call logging and follow through with support processes
- Technical Training
- Provide technical and problem-solving training on XLink products/solutions to internal and external support teams
Other Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and support of all XLink and Vodacom products and solutions
- Backup to Operations Support team in case of resource shortage
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Linux experience & qualification
- N+/A+ certification
- 3 to 5 years of technical experience in the relevant field
