We’re seeking a Finance Specialist – CA (SA) – essential
Start date: 6 January 2025
End Date: 28 February 2025
This role will be key to the Controls environment of the Bank by implementing
controls where there is a need and to ensure that they are operating effectively on an
ongoing basis as well as to support the record to report process
Duties :
Execute the finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, rolling forecast, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modelling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, or Supply Chain. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
* Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in the area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
* Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
* Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
* Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers
* Support the digitalization agenda within Finance
Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies

Desire qualification and experience
- CA (SA) – essential
- Experience
- ▪ Big 4 articles is preferred (with a preference for banking sector articles)
- ▪ 1-3 years post articles experience
- ▪ SAP BPC experience (preferred)
- ▪ Experience in financial statement preparation (preferred)
Package & Remuneration
- Salary : R765 per hour
- Location: Sandton
- Start date: 6 January 2025
- End Date: 28 February 2025
- Independent Contractor: 7 Months
