Digital Designer – Cape Town
We’re seeking a Digital Designer – 6 months Contract – Cape Town.
A blend of creativity and technical skills is needed to create visually compelling and functional designs that align with our brand vision and business objectives. Bring creative visions to life and help customers understand the platform that they are working with. Work closely with UX, product and merchandising to create exceptional online experiences that put the customer first.
- Key responsibilities include:
Understanding stakeholder needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring thateach design project is delivered with the highest quality and adheres to deadlines.
Design execution: create diverse marketing assets across both website and app.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Quality control: review and ensure creative is of a high standard
- Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into campaign development.
- Create on-brand content across various platforms
- Desired Skills and Experience
- tertiary qualification in design/visual communication or similar
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a design role within an agency environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience in UX/UI design is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence.
- Knowledge or experience in Asana or a similar project management tool is a plus..
Independent Contractor:
Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm (Hybrid Model – 3 days in office – 2 days work from home)
Head Office – Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth
Start date: ASAP
Pay Rate: R40960.00
