Sustainability Officer – 12 Months Contract

Our client based in Sandton, is looking for a Sustainability Officer for a 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation of “creating shared value” CSV tools throughout the value chain (Business Development, Engineering and Construction and Operations and Maintenance)
  • Responsible for Global reporting and quarterly updates on sustainability models – Materiality Matrix, Mater System, PPM, Sustainable construction site and Sustainable Plant and Monthly Country reports
  • Oversight on Preliminary Impact Assessment of selected projects
  • Review board packs for all sites
  • SUS Micro contracts editing and reviewing
  • Supporting contracts manager on administration and monitoring of contracts
  • File and archive construction SRM monthly reports with sections for Lender requirements
  • Coordinate monthly meetings with project SRM’s and SUS team for updates
  • Provide support to contracts management, project management DMS units
  • Check Sustainable Construction Site portals (IUP and CKS) and monitor site activities
  • Support SUS team in ED obligations spend (Processing payment and updating of payment Tracker)
  • Ngonye: Coordinate monthly SRM meeting
  • Collate and file SRM reports (including lender and CSV project reports)
  • Processing of payments
  • Following up with AFC and treasury

 

Qualifications

  • Matric with a Bachelors Degree
  • 3 – 5 years experience in: Project management/management consulting/community development would be beneficial
  • Experience in Economic Development reporting within REIPPPP
  • Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution skills would be beneficial
  • Proficient on SAP would be advantageous
  • Good Communication Skills

Salary: Market Related

Contract: 12 Months
